Military Army Tycoon Soldier squad tiers by role

Camo rifle blocks, capture teams, vehicle gunners, and expensive late pads — ranked for six-player servers, not named crates.

Soldier Squads

Battle Action’s Military Army Tycoon sells the fantasy of unlocking different soldier squads and sending them to fight. The official formation shot is the closest thing we have to a roster: rows of camouflage infantry with helmets, vests, and rifles; a few soldiers riding Humvee-style trucks as roof gunners; no country flags, no star-fusion cards, no named crate classes. This page ranks jobs, not invented SKUs. If a guide tells you to field a Medic, a Juggernaut, and a Vault Raider, it is describing InfinityInteractive’s Military Tycoon, a different Roblox place.

Use this list with the Tier List Hub, the weapon role tiers, and a live mix on army composition. Spend against a starter army build so the first squad button is not a vanity click.

Starter infantry — early S, late A

The formation pad is full of camo riflemen. That is your default squad: wood-furniture rifles, plate carriers, helmets, cheap to replace. Early S-tier because it is the only volume you can field before collectors mature. Late A-tier because you still need bodies even after armor arrives.

Buy the first infantry unlock the moment the plot lets you. Do not wait for a “better” named class — Battle Action has not published one. Pair the squad with the group boost so the first payroll is less painful, then park them on the pad while you walk the starter checklist. Starter infantry defends the plot, fills space in the formation, and gives you something to send when a nearby location lights up.

Common fail: spending the first cash pile on a vehicle pad while the infantry row is still empty. On a six-player server the empty row is a confession. You have no replacements when the first fight deletes your only hull.

Capture squad — S at every cash band

The description is explicit: send troops, capture strategic locations, fight enemy armies. Capture is the job that prints map control. We do not have an official subclass name for “the squad that takes flags.” Treat it as a role you assign: the cheapest infantry you can actually deploy off the pad toward an objective.

On six-player servers five other commanders want the same dirt. A capture squad that leaves the plot beats a prettier squad that never walks. If the game lets you split groups, keep one block home and send one block. If it does not, the whole starter row becomes the capture team until fire-support exists.

How to run it:

  1. Finish the beginner walkthrough so you know which buttons spawn troops versus cosmetics.
  2. Follow how to capture for the stand-and-hold pattern at a location.
  3. After you own a flag, do not idle the squad on the pad. Idle them on the point. Empty points flip.

Capture stays S-tier in the late game because tanks do not automatically sit on flags. Armor helps you arrive; infantry (or a parked fire-support hull) is what remains when you look away.

Fire-support squads — early B, late A

Screenshot evidence: Humvees with a gunner in the roof ring, eight-wheeled APCs with a turret, infantry holding heavier rifles in the front rank. That is fire-support. The job is hold and punish, not first-capture.

Early B-tier because the pads cost more than a rifle block and the plot still needs collectors. Late A-tier because once two flags exist, someone will try to take them. A roof-gun truck or an APC hull parked on a captured location does work a rifle row cannot: it survives the first volley and makes the retake expensive for the other five players.

Do not buy fire-support as your first squad. Buy it as the second role after a capture team has a place to defend. Details on mixing hulls sit on army composition and how to build an army. Weapon pairing — rifle versus vehicle gun — is on weapon role tiers.

Late expensive unlocks — early D, late A

The same formation shot shows tracked tanks and a green tiltrotor overhead. Those are the flex pieces. They look like the win screen. They are D-tier while your infantry row is thin because they eat the cash that would have bought three rifle blocks and a collector.

Unlock them when:

  • Collectors are already looping.
  • You hold at least one location.
  • You can replace the hull if a six-player brawl deletes it.

Then they jump to A-tier: tanks for a breakthrough onto a contested pad, tiltrotor for getting a squad across terrain you would rather not walk. They are still not a substitute for a capture team. A tiltrotor that never drops troops on a point is a flying screenshot.

What we refuse to rank

  • Named guns as squad identities (no “AK squad,” no “Barrett squad”).
  • Crate rarities, soldier cards, or star fusion from the other tycoon.
  • Gamepass-only hero units we cannot see in Battle Action’s public art.
  • Country-select infantry. This experience is one army per plot, not a nation picker.

If a YouTube title lists ten squad names for “Military Army Tycoon,” open the official Roblox page and compare thumbnails. If the thumbnail is an island with oil rigs and country flags, it is the wrong game.

Squad ranks only matter if you click in order. Use the progression path so the first session buys infantry and a capture send, not a tank you will babysit. Check the launch recap if a patch adds a new pad — we will add a role row, not a fake name. Count camo helmets on your pad against empty flags on the map; if the helmets win the screenshot but the flags are not yours, the squad list already told you which role you skipped.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for new commanders.

What is the best starter squad?

The first camo infantry unlock. There is no official elite starter class. Buy volume, then assign that volume to capture.

Should I wait for tanks before capturing?

No. Capture squads are S-tier from minute one. Tanks are late expensive unlocks. Read how to capture.

Are Humvee gunners a separate squad?

Treat roof gunners as fire-support, not as a named class. They hold flags; they do not replace the rifle row that takes the flag.

Why ignore Medic / Juggernaut lists?

Those names belong to InfinityInteractive Military Tycoon. Battle Action has not published that roster for place 95409544559668.

How do squads fit a full army?

Infantry first, capture send second, fire-support third, tanks and tiltrotor last. The mix is on army composition.
