How to Build an Army

Building an army in Military Army Tycoon is the middle of the official loop, not a cosmetics menu. Battle Action’s description is blunt: unlock different soldier squads, equip powerful weapons, expand and upgrade the base, and put together an army composition you can send into battle. This page is the process. Ranked opinions live on the soldier squad list and the composition list. Named starter routes live on best builds. None of those pages will invent unit names, weapon SKUs, or a shop tree the studio has not posted.

If the plot is still empty, finish the beginner walkthrough and claim the group boost first. The guides hub indexes the rest. Cash rules that fund the pads are in how to get cash. The loop that actually uses the army is in how to play and how to capture.

Composition is a queue, not a trophy button

A six-player server punishes the commander who buys one spectacular pad and calls it a roster. Official gallery shots of camouflage infantry, Humvees, tanks, APCs, and a green tiltrotor in a desert canyon are the fantasy the studio is selling. They are not a verified unlock order. Treat what you see as roles, not as SKUs:

  • A squad that can stand. Cheap infantry you can replace after a lost fight.
  • A weapon that matches the fight you take. Close-quarters shots in the gallery put a blue-outlined ally against a red-outlined black-ops rifleman. If you keep dying in corners, you do not need a canyon ridge fantasy; you need a weapon you will fire at that range.
  • A second role for the flag. Capture is a job. A lonely late unlock cannot recapture after it dies.

Buy in that order. Expand the base whenever production would stall. Skip the pad that wipes the counter unless the starter checklist says you already have a deployable mix.

What we will not list

We will not name fictional rifle models, tank chassis, or “tier 7 Osprey” shop rows. We will not import InfinityInteractive content: no country armies, no oil-rig garrisons, no diamond crates, no F-35 bunker lines. If a YouTube build video uses those words, it is the other game. Confirm place 95409544559668 on the official links page before you copy a loadout.

Promo codes will not build the army for you either. The codes hub has no public string as of 31 August 2026. Spend the group boost on the first squad you can support, not on a screenshot vehicle.

Field test before you double down

Unlock, equip, walk off the plot, and take one location. Watch whether the mix can:

  1. Arrive without wiping to the first red outline.
  2. Hold long enough to matter.
  3. Get rebuilt from plot income after a loss.

If it fails step 1, you bought too late or too thin. If it fails step 2, you are missing a capture role. If it fails step 3, you starved the base; go back to cash pacing. Then adjust using progression instead of rage-buying the next gallery object. Camera and deploy clicks that make tests messy are a controls problem, not an army-theory problem.

After a patch, re-read the launch recap only if new squad buttons appeared. You do not need to rebuild the philosophy: mixed, replaceable, capture-capable.

When a fight deletes your push, rebuild in role order: a squad that can stand, a weapon that matches the range you actually take, then a second squad for the flag you still want. Composition is a queue, not a single trophy button on the plot.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for new commanders.

What should I unlock first for a Military Army Tycoon army?

A cheap soldier squad you can actually deploy, then a matching weapon, then a second role for captures. Income pads come first if production would stall.

Can you list every squad and weapon by name?

No. Battle Action has not published a public roster. This wiki will not invent model names. Use roles plus the squad tier list.

Should I copy a tank-and-tiltrotor line from the official screenshots?

Treat those shots as fantasy, not a shopping list. Fund a replaceable mix first. See a starter build before late pads.

Is army building the same as in Military Tycoon by InfinityInteractive?

No. No countries, oil rigs, diamonds, or F-35 bunkers. Confirm Battle Action’s place on the official links page.

Where do I spend after the first mix works?

Follow progression and composition rankings, and keep converting wins in how to play.
